نركت لرحمة الرحمن نفسي .. فما لي دون رحمته رجاءُ

تَرَكْتُ لِرَحْمَةِ الرَّحْمنِ نَفْسي ... فَمَا لي دونَ رَحْمَتِهِ رَجاءُ

لَقَدْ قَصَّرْتُ في عَمَلي طَويلاً ... وقَدْ أخْطَأْتُ والدُّنْيا ابْتِلاءُ

فَإِنْ يَغْفِرْ بفَضْلٍ مِنْهُ أنْجو ... وإلاّ فالحِسابُ هوَ الشَّقاءُ

إلهي والحَياءُ يُذيبُ نَفْسِي ... إذا أدْعُوكَ ذَوَّبَني الحَياءُ

أنا الإنسانُ في ظُلْمِي وَعَجْزي ... وأنتَ اللهُ تَفْعَلُ ما تَشاءُ
