البنك المركزي المصري أعلن عن زيادة كبيرة في الودائع بالعملات الأجنبية في البنوك المصرية خلال يوليو 2024، ووصلت قيمة الودائع دي لـ2.6 تريليون جنيه، مقارنة بـ1.5 تريليون جنيه في ديسمبر 2023.
الودائع الجديدة تنوّعت بين ودائع تحت الطلب وشهادات ادخار وغيرهم، والقطاع العائلي استحوذ على النصيب الأكبر منها.

الودائع بالعملة المحلية زادت هي كمان لـ7 تريليون جنيه في يوليو 2024، بعد ما كانت 6.2 تريليون في ديسمبر 2023، مع ارتفاع في ودائع القطاعات المختلفة زي الأعمال، العام، الخاص، والعائلي.
