يروي أحمد الظروف الصعبة التي عاشها من لحظة رجوعه من كندا إلى غزة بهدف إنهاء درجة الماجستير لكن الحرب كانت أقرب إليه ودفعته إلى التطوع في أكبر مستشفيات غزة، ومن هنا كانت الشهادة الحية الموثقة بأم عينه على كل ما شاهده طوال مدة تواجده على مدار 210 يوماً منذ بدء الحرب إلى أن تمكن من مغادرة قطاع غزة حاملا معه رسالة وشهادة للعالم على حجم الكارثة
