عقرب الكتب من رتبه المفصليات وهو يعيش غالبا وسط حقائب الكتب القديمه لانه يتغذى على القمل والحشرات التى تتغذى على الغراء ولزق الكتب القديمه فوظيفته هى حمايه الكتب وطعامة هو حشرات الكتب ويرقة عتة الملابس ويرقة خنفساء السجاد ولا يترك اي ضرر علي الانسان اما فار الخلد العاري فهو نوع من ثلاثون نوع من فئران الخلد ويعيش فى مستعمرات مثل النمل والنحل والملكه دورها هو التكاثر وتربيه الاطفال والباقى دوره هو حفر الانفاق باستخدام الاسنان وهي لاتصاب بالسرطان وغير معروف السبب حتي الان .
