أما السيئة، فهي مصطلح أوسع يشير إلى أي فعل غير أخلاقي أو غير مقبول أو يؤذي الآخرين. السيئة لا تقتصر على الأعمال الدينية فقط، بل تشمل أيضًا الأفعال غير الأخلاقية في العديد من السياقات، مثل القتل أو السرقة أو الكذب أو الغش.
باختصار، يمكن القول أن الذنب يشير عادة إلى الفعل الذي يتعارض مع قواعد دينية أو معتقدات مقدسة، بينما السيئة تعبر عن الأفعال غير الأخلاقية أو التصرفات التي تؤذي الآخرين بغض النظر عن الأسس الدينية.
