لون فراء الدب القطبى ليس ابيض حسب ما نعتقد لانه زجاجى شفاف واششعه الشمس تعكس الضؤ عليه وتعطيه اللون الابيض كما ان لون جلده اسمر وذلك لامتصاص اشعه الشمس التى تمنحه الحراره اللازمه للتدفئه.
