هذا ليس سحرا، بل هو تجربةٌ علمية حقيقية. بطاقة معلقة لا تتحمل الوزن، ولكن عندما تملأ الكوب بالماء تصبح البطاقة قويةً بما يكفي لتحمل الوزن. من الصعب إدخال قشة في البطاطس، ولكن إذا ضغطت بإبهامك على أحد الطرفين وأدخلتها بسرعة، فإن البطاطس ستثقب. هذا هو ضغط الهواء. عند وضع المغناطيس على القطب السالب للبطارية وتوصيل السلك النحاسي بالقطب الموجب. هذا هو مبدأ دوران المحرك الكهربائي.
عند وضع قلمين رصاص في ماء مالح، وتوصيلهما ببطارية، يمكنك رؤية الهيدروجين والأوكسجين يتفككان في الماء.
